Associação Cultural Videobrasil and Sesc São Paulo announced the list of participating artists and collectives for the 22nd Biennial Sesc_Videobrasil.
This year’s 40-Year Special, entitled ‘Memory is an Editing Station,’ will be under the artistic direction of Solange Farkas and curated by Raphael Fonseca and Renée Akitelek Mboya. The preselection committee also included curators Amanda Carneiro, Ana Sophie Salazar, Nomaduma Masilela, Siddharta Perez, Tereza Jindrová and Ying Kwok.
Artists for the upcoming edition include Abdessamad El Montassir, Ali Cherri, Marie-Rose Osta, Sada [regroup] with Sajjad Abbas, Bassim Al Shaker, Ali Eyal, Sarah Munaf, Rijin Sahakian, among others. See the full list below:
