Abi Dhabi Art has announced the galleries participating in the upcoming 16th edition of the fair.
The art fair will take place at Manarat al Saadiyat from 20 to 24 November 2024. It will bring together 102 galleries from a total of 31 countries in the largest edition of the fair yet.
In addition to the galleries exhibiting modern and contemporary art, three new Focus sectors will be unveiled, including The Collectors Salon, created by Roxane Zand and with a focus on rare and historical objects, Something Bold, Something New, curated by Myrna Ayad with an interest in highlighting artists who had made an impact on the art history of the region, and Silk Road: Drifting Identities, brought together by Elvira Eevr Djaltchinova-Malets which will showcase the art of Central Asia and the Caucasus. In addition, the Emerge sector will include nine galleries offering works under USD3000, and the existing Bidaya sector will bring in two new galleries.

With the upcoming museum openings confirmed for Saadiyat Cultural District including Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and Zayed National Museum, the commercial art sector which flies alongside this, is anticipated to enjoy unprecedented growth over the next decade. Abu Dhabi Art serves as an engine for our cultural economy and has played a key role in developing the art market here in the UAE, whilst expanding it globally”.
