The Aspen Art Fair, organized in partnership with Aspen’s leading art and cultural institutions, invites visitors to engage with internationally-renowned artists, gallery owners, and curators. Among them, The Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies will have a first-time presence at the fair displaying several Herbert Bayer screenprints and other modernist items highlighting the beginnings of Modern Aspen. The fair’s 2025 edition will also offer a robust program of exclusive home tours and collection visits, a speaker series, artist residencies, performances, cocktail receptions, dinners, guided hikes, and early morning river plunges to take advantage of the region’s natural beauty.

“We are so pleased to be returning to the historic Hotel Jerome for our second edition of The Aspen Art Fair, continuing our mission to curate a dynamic and evolving art fair experience that provides a platform for meaningful connections, conversation, creativity, and collaboration within Aspen’s exceptional cultural landscape,” said The Aspen Art Fair Co-founder Becca Hoffman. “For 2025, visitors can join in on studio‑style conversations and market panels, explore local collectors’ home tours, experience Aspen’s natural, alpine beauty and dive into its singular philanthropic spirit. By weaving these experiences into the fabric of the city—one of the world’s most sought‑after luxury destinations—we’re creating a week-long immersive celebration of contemporary art.”

Lissa Ballinger, Executive Director, Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies added, “The Resnick Center for Herbert Bayer Studies (the Bayer Center) is thrilled to announce its participation as a cultural partner in the 2025 Aspen Art Fair, marking our inaugural presence in downtown Aspen. This collaboration will highlight the significant relationship between Herbert Bayer and the Hotel Jerome, the origins of the Aspen Institute, and the beginnings of modern Aspen.”

Providing a visible global platform for the work and voices of artists today, The Aspen Art Fair has established a noteworthy Art Prize Program in collaboration with a group of esteemed, cultural organizations. This year, adding to the program, Mack Art Foundation will offer one artist presented at the fair with a new four-week artist residency in New York to take place in 2026, as well as providing one artist with an acquisition prize. “The Mack Art Foundation is proud to introduce its inaugural Residency Prize at this year’s Aspen Art Fair — a celebration of new beginnings and future possibilities. We believe in building bridges for emerging artists, creating pathways for them to expand their practices and connect with New York’s vibrant art world. Through collaboration and opportunity, we aim to empower the next generation of artists to dream bigger, reach further, and create new possibilities for themselves and the communities around them,” said Mack Art Foundation Founder Christine Mack.

Returning Art Prize Program partners Anderson Ranch Arts Center will offer its Anderson Ranch Visiting Artist Prize. This one-week residency prize builds on Anderson Ranch’s legacy of hosting world-renowned artists including Catherine Opie, Theaster Gates, Julie Mehretu, Mickalene Thomas, Tom Sachs, Kenny Scharf, and Ed Ruscha. The 2024 prize was awarded to Masako Miki of RYAN LEE Gallery. The Pardon Collection will award a $10,000 acquisition prize to one artist, whose selected work will be added to The Pardon Collection’s holdings. In 2024, the prize was awarded to Bethany Collins of PATRON. Buckhorn Public Arts, a nonprofit organization, will commission one artist from the fair to create a new public art project in Aspen. Last year’s recipient was Andy Millner of Hexton Gallery, who was commissioned to create a set design in partnership with DanceAspen.

“The Aspen Art Fair has fast become a must-visit convening on the international art and cultural circuit,” said The Aspen Art Fair Co‑founder Bob Chase, owner of Aspen’s Hexton Gallery and a National Council member of both the Aspen Art Museum and Anderson Ranch Arts Center. “I am thrilled to expand our partnerships with Aspen’s renowned art and cultural institutions and leading contemporary art foundations and collections, allowing us to engage local and global audiences, and, through our robust Art Prize Program, to honor artists with rare opportunities to advance their careers with residencies and acquisitions.
