CI BLOOM, initiated by Contemporary Istanbul, will meet art enthusiasts with its 5th edition between April 15–19, 2026, at Lütfi Kırdar Rumeli Hall. Standing out with its young, dynamic, and innovative structure, the fair brings together galleries from different cities across Türkiye, art initiatives, and next-generation artistic productions, creating space for the most current and bold examples of contemporary art.
The 5th edition of CI BLOOM is realized in partnership with BMW Türkiye (represented by Borusan Otomotiv Türkiye), with co-partnership from Pernod Ricard Türkiye, official airline partnership by Turkish Airlines I Miles&Smiles, project partnership with Samsung as the Official Art TV of CI BLOOM, international promotion support from the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA), city communication support from İBB Kültür AŞ, and accommodation support from The Bank Hotel Istanbul.
Borusan Otomotiv, presenting the new BMW iX3 model at the fair, also brings together the works of world-renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky with art audiences. Focusing on environmental transformation, industrial production, and humanity’s impact on nature, the artist’s “Erosion Control” series examines the relationship between humans and nature through agricultural practices and soil erosion in Anatolia. Through his high-resolution, layered photographic language, Burtynsky presents both the aesthetic and conceptual dimensions of environmental transformation.
Throughout CI BLOOM, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a specially curated selection from Samsung’s “Art TV” platform—originally launched with The Frame and now evolved into a vast digital art library featuring over 4,000 works through collaborations with more than 70 museums worldwide—displayed on Samsung screens.
The 5th edition of CI BLOOM is realized through a sustainable model designed to support galleries. Developed in consideration of current economic conditions, this approach reflects Contemporary Istanbul’s vision of growing in solidarity with the art ecosystem. By supporting galleries in their production and participation processes, the model contributes to the sustainability of contemporary art.
Continuing its commitment to making art accessible to wider audiences, CI BLOOM maintains its special initiative for students this year. On April 16–17, between 17:00–20:00, the fair offers free admission for higher education students, encouraging young audiences— undergraduate, graduate, and PhD students—to engage directly with contemporary art.
Visitors wishing to benefit from free admission must present a valid student ID. The application is limited to 500 visitors per day, and invitations must be obtained via Biletix.
