The Saudi Cultural Development Fund introduces Nama’ Accelerators, starting with the handicraft track to nurture innovation and sustainable cultural growth.
In line with the National Culture Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030, the Saudi Cultural Development fund is launching Nama’ Accelerators, an exciting new plan for micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises seeking to contribute to the Kingdom’s cultural sector. In partnership with the Saudi Ministry of Culture and the Quality-of-Life Programme, Nama’ will foster home-grown innovation and propel its expansion through comprehensive accelerators.
The first track is dedicated to craft, a nod to the 2025 Year of Handicrafts. This will not only expand the scope, reach and impact of the Kingdom’s handicraft heritage and identity but also boost opportunity and engagement in the field, encouraging modern ingenuity, empowering the cultural sector and stimulating the field’s profitability. The first of its kind, the accelerator merges technical and practical knowledge with business and market acumen in order to transform handicraft heritage into economic success.

Fulfilling the role as key financial enabler of the cultural sector in the Kingdom has been central to the Cultural Development Fund’s mission since its founding in 2021. This new accelerators culminates in financial incentives directly related to expanding and growth. The full-spectrum offering includes intensive workshops on topics ranging from marketing through business; improved access to local and global markets; and accelerator support to drive sustainable growth.
Eligible participants will partake in four stages. Training Camp involves a digital platform where entrepreneurial skills and concepts will be refined with insights from industry experts and professionals. The Accelerator Phase features in-depth mentorship, support and network-building opportunities to facilitate the maturation of projects into full-fledged operational models. Incentive Distribution follows, a stage which introduces targeted financial grants to bolster long-term growth. The final part is Post-Accelerator Support, which includes further mentoring and market guidance to ensure lasting success.
Promoting sustainable development for ambitious cultural projects and nurturing a dynamic entrepreneurial landscape, Nama’ will announce additional sector-specific tracks across its supported areas.
