Artists and cultural institutions in the UAE and around the world have launched initiatives in solidarity with Palestine and to raise funds for aid and relief in Gaza.
In the UAE, the Emirates Red Crescent has launched Tarahum – For Gaza, a relief campaign with an online fundraising platform as well as in-kind donation centres and volunteering opportunities across the country, including Alserkal Avenue and its community of galleries. Other art spaces in the country, including Art Dubai and 421 have launched separate initiatives for which the proceeds will be donated in support of the campaign. Online initiatives based around the world, from Canada to Ireland, are also joining the effort with cultural programming, fundraising sales and charity auctions.
Alserkal Avenue
Funds and in-kind donations can be dropped off at a dedicated venue in the Avenue. Donations and proceeds will go towards the Emirates Red Crescent in support of Tarahum – For Gaza

A fundraiser event featuring educational and awareness programming, in collaboration with Haya’s Kitchen and The Workshop Dubai. Proceeds will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent in support of Tarahum – for Gaza

Gulf Photo Plus
Those who have donated at least AED 90 to Tarahum – For Gaza receive a free special edition PALESTINE FOREVER Flick Camera designed by artist Bayan Dahdah.

Visitors of this year’s Downtown Design are requested to pay an entrance fee of AED 25 at the door, which will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent in support of Tarahum – For Gaza

Palestinian Cinema Days
A film programme that brings to the forefront stories, heritage, and identity of the Palestinian people. Proceeds will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent in support of Tarahum – For Gaza
