Exhibiting Artists: Raya Kassisieh, Zahra Holm, Huda Jamal & Yasmina Hilal
A journey through time and space, across familiar faces and once-known places – a story of forgetting and remembering, of feeling nothing and feeling everything, al at once.
I Forgot What You Felt Like brings together the works of four women artists from Palestine, Tunisia, Bahrain and Lebanon. Each artist captures the sensation of losing touch with something deeply familiar, only to encounter it again – as though for the very first time.
For some, it is a personal quest for self-discovery: a return to the body after a long separation, an embrace of buried identities, a reclaiming of wholeness. For others, it is a tender moment of connecting with an estranged lover, healing fractured relationships once thought lost to time. Or perhaps it is the experience of revisiting a once-known place, now transformed, reimagined, and seen with fresh eyes. Sometimes, this return feels like coming home; other times, it may be a sign to create a new one.
I Forgot What You Felt Like is an intimate reflection – an emotional archive, a time capsule filtered through the eyes of today and the pulse of the present.
