ICD Brookfield Place introduces artist Yamam Nabeel’s first show in the region: Waiting for Time: Intersecting Realities.
Yamam Nabeel presents a photography series of 29 portraits and stories from more than 60 subjects interviewed and photographed for the project internationally at ICD Brookfield Place. These one-on-one human moments, outside in a place of the sitter’s choosing, capture their experience in a unique but delicate way, highlighting both the great disparities and commonalities between people in today’s world. While his work is a look into a past reality, it sheds a light on how far communities have grown into a brighter, more optimistic present.
