NADA New York 2024

NADA New York

Details

New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), the definitive non-profit organization dedicated to the cultivation, support, and advancement of new voices in contemporary art, is pleased to announce the exhibitor list for the 10th edition of NADA New York, which will be held in West Chelsea’s gallery district May 2–5, 2024 at 548 West.

NADA New York 2024 will showcase a dynamic selection from 92 galleries, art spaces, and non-profit organizations spanning 15 countries and 31 cities including Athens, Bucharest, Ghent, Montreal, New York, Portland, Warsaw, and Yongsan-gu. This year’s exhibitors list showcases 59 NADA Members and 34 first-time exhibitors. The fair will also feature NADA Projects, the organization’s unique programmatic platform highlighting small-scale presentations and curatorial projects.

Highlights this year include solo presentations from Sara Rahmanian at ILY2; Will Yackulic at Et al.; Hidetaka Suzuki at Ackerman Clarke; Nihura Montiel at Sebastian Gladstone; and Małgorzata Szymankiewicz at BWA Warszawa. Presentations from first-time exhibitors include Jova Lynne at Matéria Gallery; Sergio Suarez, Samuel Stewart, and Ana Won at KDR; and Jang Jongwan at FOUNDRY SEOUL. Highlights from the NADA Projects section include Marta and Essex Flowers.

NADA New York is an expression of the organization’s commitment to the city, both as the cultural mecca in which the association’s headquarters and exhibition space are located, as well as a global epicenter of emerging and established galleries and artists.

In addition to the New York Fair, New Art Dealers Alliance celebrates the organization’s steadfast commitment to their community of galleries, art spaces, and nonprofits with upcoming programming including: NADA Flea in March, NADA Villa Warsaw in May, NADA House in September, and NADA Miami in December.

This spring, NADA is pleased to announce the return of NADA Flea, a multi-weekend community art market which converts the organizations’ East Broadway exhibition space into a local business hub with vendors selling art and design objects, publications, apparel, and more, from March 9–24.

This past week, NADA announced a call for proposals for NADA Villa Warsaw, a new gallery-driven collaborative exhibition to take place May 15–19, 2024 at the historic Villa Gawrońskich in the heart of Warsaw. The initiative is being organized with NADA Members Michał Kaczyński (Raster), Marta Kołakowska (LETO Gallery), and Joanna Witek-Lipka (Warsaw Gallery Weekend).

This fall, NADA House returns to Governors Island, transforming the historic Nolan Park house into a collaborative, public contemporary art space. From December 3-7, NADA Miami will take over Ice Palace Studios for the 22nd edition of the fair.

“We are delighted to celebrate our tenth anniversary of NADA New York with our brilliant community of artists, dealers, and supporters,” said NADA Executive Director Heather Hubbs. “We are also thrilled to continue uplifting key voices and exceptional presentations through our upcoming expanded programs—in New York, Miami, and now Warsaw.”
