Details

Iyad Qanazea Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of The Emirati Scene, a group exhibition bringing together a distinguished selection of Emirati artists whose practices have shaped, questioned, and expanded the contemporary cultural landscape of the UAE.

The exhibition features works by:

  • Mahra Al Falahi
  • Mohammed Al Mazrouei
  • Azza Al Qubaisi
  • Cristiana De Marchi
  • Mohammed Kazem
  • Najat Makki

The Emirati Scene offers a timely reflection on shared resilience, artistic continuity, and the unifying role of culture during moments of collective challenge.

Amid the complex circumstances currently experienced across the UAE, this exhibition foregrounds art as a space for reflection, connection, and strength. The participating artists—spanning generations, disciplines, and conceptual approaches—embody the diversity and depth of the Emirati art scene, while remaining rooted in lived experience, place, and memory.

Through painting, sculpture, conceptual practice, material exploration, and poetic gesture, The Emirati Scene highlights how art can function as both a personal and collective language—one that sustains identity, fosters dialogue, and affirms solidarity.
