Hawai‘i Contemporary has announced the list of artists participating in the upcoming Hawai‘i Triennial 2025.
Curated by Wassan Al-Khudhairi, Binna Choi and Noelle MKY Kahanu, the triennial features 49 artists and collectives from around the world, including Hayv Kahraman, Yazan Khalili and Jumana Manna. See the full list below:

Entitled ALOHA NŌ, this edition centres around the concept of ‘aloha’, seeking to reclaim it from its modern colonial-capitalist associations and to mobilise its connotations of love between humans and the environment through contemporary art.
In a statement, the curators commented: “We have centered artists whose practices are shaped by their shared commitment to learning from and loving the people and places from where they and their ancestors come; in particular, Hawai‘i, the Pacific and other islands and nations that share similar histories and struggles.”
Taking place across multiple sites in Hawai‘i Island, Maui and O‘ahu for the first time, the triennial offers free public programs and audience-engagement events, including participatory art projects, workshops, artist talks, film screenings, panel discussions and tours.
Hawai‘i Triennial 2025 runs from 15 February to 4 May 2025.
