Zeinab Alhashemi walks #canvas through @LouvreAbuDhabi, and around her geometric glass sculpture ‘Metamorphic’ created for ‘Co-Lab: Contemporary Art and Savoir-faire’ (running until 26 August), waxing poetic about the intersection between the industrial and the natural. Made in collaboration with Saint-Just, this work is informed by mashrabiyyah structures, Saadiyat’s topography and colours.
